Appointments and Emergencies
To help provide timely service to our patients, our Yakima Pediatrics recommend scheduling all visits. If you are later than fifteen minutes for your appointment, we will do our absolute best to work you into the schedule or perhaps offer you an appointment with another provider. Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to request you to reschedule your appointment. If you would like to schedule more than one child, please include both of them when making your appointment. Without an appointment, we may be unable to see a sick sibling right away, and you may be requested to wait while our physician sees a scheduled patient who has been waiting.
If an emergency should arise, please call 911 immediately. Emergencies are considered to be those symptoms and conditions that are life-threatening. Examples of emergencies include (but are not limited to): seizure, severe bleeding, and loss of consciousness. In the case of minor emergencies (for example: sprains, cuts, lacerations, and mild fractures), please call our office first for instructions.
Yakima Pediatrics asks all patients to schedule an appointment. All visits require an appointment. Same day appointments may be available, especially for sick visits. Please call our office ahead of time to schedule an appointment. Our team will do its best to minimize your waiting time. If you have a minor emergency, we will make every effort to see your child immediately or refer you to the appropriate health care provider.
